i have a vonage USB that you plug start in to my laptop.
but i want to use it so a can plug mr house phone into the computer.........using vonage........
could this work?
If so in full detail tell me how to hook it up.........i have a new ACER laptop.

no, you would need the vonage router to use your own home phone.

You will need a Vonage PNA adapter. From this device you can run a phone extension cable to the wall outlet in the house. Just make sure that you disconnect service from your phone company, also disconnect the phone cable comming in the NID on the sede of the house as you don't want to back feed dial tone to the CO (central office)
