hi! does anyone knows where can i find some kind of driver for a flat panel e19t5w (emachines)... my problem is that i installed a new windows on my pc and the monitor is actually widescreened but i havent found A configuration to adjust the image, right now it just streches and everything is out of proportion... please helpp!!! i already tried to look for this havent found an answer... it is streching the 1024x768 when it shoud be 1440x900! will really really apreciate your help

What is the cheapest way to get a legal copy of Windows XP Professional?

I recently purchased a used Pentium 4 system for $100. It had everything I need, except a copy of Windows.

What are my options? I really don't want to spend more for the OS than I did for the computer.

i am looking at the dell inspiron 530 intel core 2 duo E4400 windows XP 2MG memory 320GB harddrive and a geforce 8300gs video card. i have heard that this graphics card is not very good my wife wants to be able to run second life... and my son does some online gaming... will this still work ok for us? i have read that i should upgrade to the 8600gt... but dell doesn't offer it in a windows XP computer (my wife does not want vista)... any computer whiz out there who can guide me in the right direction?..

also... could i one day add a better graphics card?

i'm considering wether i should buy a used mac..the owner emailed me back, after i asked what was wrong with it (since it was so cheap) ..is what hes saying even right and is it the real scenerio? does this even sound right to you or what?

p.s i can fix pc's and never bothered with a mac but is this just a boot disc fix? the added cmos replacement makes me wonder..

okay, i know how to access them in internet explorer. i can copy images, flash animations, and some videos out of the temporary internet files folder to the desktop to enjoy.

Now, how do i do the same with firefox? where is its temporary internet files folder? I want to be able to access the files inside in windows explorer. How do i do this? what is the folder address? help me please.

the site has changed some of it's information and I didn't save or print this infomation out on last week. I know there is a way of going on my own computer back tracking the moves I made. But, I don't know how to do it, can anyone help?? Is it a special software I need to buy or is there a way of doing it without any additional attachments. (You know how a police ofcr. would seize a computer and it will show every move that person made on it from the different sites, to pictures...etc./like if they were trying to catch a pedophile or something to produce evidence)..help

Hi, I had nero on my other pc which I dont have anymore, and I got a pc made for me and got a nero disc with the DVD rewriter, I have downloaded some dvds, which usuallu work when putting them onto a dvd with nero, but on this one it says there is not enough room on the disc I am using to put the film on. the thing is there is plenty of room and they are the disc I have always used. It tells me to turn things off like the slide show things and back ground pictures, but I cant find anywhere to do this in nero.

Its strange as it used to work with the other one. Is it because its liike a trial or something, It dosnt tell me anything.
Any help you can give me will be great thanks

weird i got it on july 20th 2006 and it stopped workin about 4 days ago. funny thing it i never even touched it for a week and a half and last time i player it.. it worked fine. is my dsl being weird or anything? because when i conenct my cord from the adpter to my dsl theres no green light saying that my cable is connected. my dsl is model 327W. can anyone help me?

I have a packard bell and just carrie out a system restore where it stores my laptop back to when i first got it. I chose the optioon for partial system restore so i dont lose any of my files. I can now longer find my files, maybe they have been deleted, but there prob is a way i can retrieve them again. Just think how the police can retrieve details from any pc, does anyone know how i can do this?

I have always had windows microsoft, but recently my computer has been acting slow, and its really virus-prone. i have decided to get a new home computer (not laptop; i already have one). i am a freshman in college with a few roommates. i left my computer in our living room/dining room (lol typical college life) for my friends to use. however, within one year of owning my brand new store bought computer, my computer has become full of memory, user accounts, pictures, and well....viruses. so i am giving it to my kid brother. now....what should i buy? should i follow the ipod craze and buy an Apple or stick with what i know and love?? also, i HATE vista. and im not sure if they still make XP. thanks, Katie

I was at bestbuy yesterday and i seen the geforce 8500 GT 512mb video card for only $86.00, it read to be an awsome card for that cheap price so i bought because i need a new card, and this one even plays direct x10... but when i opened it it looks like a piece of cheap crap! even my girl friend sais thats it looks like junk! ha! anyway before i use it i want to research this a little because if it really is crap i can still bring it back and buy something eles which of course will cost 4 times the price.... If i enter any CD even a brand new out of the case CD my computer doesnt install or read it. Even when i go to "Set program Access and Defaults" and click on add programs. It searches for a disc and doesnt find it? Any ideas?

I'm trying to install a TV tuner on my PC and it's not working. Everything is installed correctly regarding hardware and software but when I check the device drivers on my PC I get an error message that says: "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)"

What is the best notebook/laptop out there. I am looking to have a custom laptop that will last me more than 1-2 years. Serious answers only please.
