What is the cheapest way to get a legal copy of Windows XP Professional?

I recently purchased a used Pentium 4 system for $100. It had everything I need, except a copy of Windows.

What are my options? I really don't want to spend more for the OS than I did for the computer.

Check Ebay for an OEM copy. It's probably your best bet for a "cheap" copy.

Hope this helps.

nicely, in case you theory yours have been legitimate whilst you purchased them, you are able to touch Microsoft and that they provides you with new, unfastened keys in case you tell them what seller you purchased the pirate keys from.
