My computer wont install anything from a disc.help please?

If i enter any CD even a brand new out of the case CD my computer doesnt install or read it. Even when i go to "Set program Access and Defaults" and click on add programs. It searches for a disc and doesnt find it? Any ideas?

Start your computer in safe mode, then install the software. When your PC is in safe mode it is easy to install your software, and your computer will give you little or no error messages.
