Some of the faster net providers provide anti virus software as a courtesy. Here in the southwest Roadrunner is the fastest net server you can find and they provide anti virus and firewall service if you choose to use it.

You MUST have anti-virus on your machine. Download and install avg free from http://free.grisoft.com

some do, some don't just depends on your provider. you can download free anti-virus software here and it's good.

errors 999 i found out to be Yahoo censoring, say you answer a question & you placed a hyperlink in the respond & you published this hyperlink many cases before then you definately get errors 999, do away with the hyperlink & no errors 999.
