C++ how to make a program that edits a value in the memory ?
i wanna make a rogram that edits a value in the memory the trick is that this value is not always at the same place
so the program should search the value and change it when it finds it

Has anyone heard of this problem: at my apartment I have a wireless router using a DSL connection. My wife when she was working at home alone was able to use her IBM thinkpad laptop with the wireless network and the network never went down. Now I am working at home, using my HP Pavillion ZE4900 laptop and the wireless network goes down a lot. This past weekend, she and I went to my father's house and he also has a wireless network where he works also on a laptop, also an IBM Thinkpad. When my wife was using her laptop, the network never went down. When I started up my laptop and tried to connect to the Internet, no one in the house could connect to the Internet. We had to disconnect the DSL modem multiple times in order to get the internet back. This morning, I chose not to use my laptop and neither my wife nor my father have had any connectivity issues, and not once did they have trouble accessing the Internet. Anyone with an idea of what's going on here?

for the last few days iv been having trouble logging onto ebay. it keeps saying:

Your sign in information is not valid, please try again.

now i use it nearly v day, so i know i have the right password. i have checked the case sensitive is correct too. i have also tried to change my both my username and password seperately, by filling out the info and then ebay is meant to send me an email with new details but im not getting any emails from them after requesting them. i have also tried changing from ebay.ie to co.uk and tried to log in there, but still no good, i also tried to question this on community on ebay but even for that i need to sign in.

Originally , i wanted to get on site because i need to leave feedback, and also check on items i bid on to see if i won and need to pay , or got out bid. i dont want to get negative feedback over this. but now , im concerned about what is wrong. cos at first i thought maybe it was problem with all of ebay, not just me. What can i do?

I have used Linux since 1995 when Slackware was much smaller and was only on floppy disk or tape image (yes it was installable by tape drive!). I have known some people that use it besides me, but not any, personally, that use it as their regular home OS. Am I alone here?
Microsoft has its pros and cons, but I've had less problems with Linux overall. Less crashes (YES less, Linux does have the occasional oops or panic or report that the printer is on fire, just no where near as often as Windows), NO viruses, NO browser hijacks. Just looking around online with Windows can be harmful to your computer.

Thus my preference of Linux.

All my contacts are showing blocked on msn messenger, even tho they are showing `allowed` in the tools/privacy option.

When I power on my computer I get this: Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corruupt:
\system32\hal.dll.
Please re-install a copy of the above file. WTF is this? I have tried using the system restore dvd but to no avail. When I can actually get it to boot to the restore I get a message that says ( not worded exactly) we could not continue restoration because the size of the hard drive could not be acquired. WTF is that about? Please help! This kinda has sentimental value to me. Is my restore disc ruined? Is my hard drive fried? Please any suggestions would help. I am not very computer savy and I am a broke *** college student, so I can not really afford to have a shop fix it. Help!!!!!!!!!!!

I am having trouble to get the port forwarding working on my buffalo airstation WHR-HP-G54. I followed the instructions and enabled NAT and configured the ports. But it didn't seem to work. When I look into the log file, it says that the connection to the port that was configured to forward was denied by the firewall. I can't seem to find the menu to configure the firewall to allow that port. What should I do?
