routers for laptops??

I have a laptop and i want my own network... I kno that i will need a router for my own access. Do i need to pay a monthly fee from a company or do i just buy the router?

just buy the router .. u do need an existing hi-speed internet connection tho ..

Just buy the Router and hook it up.
No additional charge unless you buy it from your provider and they will charge you a fortune for one.
