It looks great but i noticed some small bubbles around the corners of the back window and the front window at the top! should i try and flatten the or leave them alone? also it was raining very hard and i had to put my defroster on...do u think this affected the drying and made it bubble? thanks

i dont know much about cars or maintance, and i always wonder why my car smells like burn. everytime i drive it and get out the car, it smells like burn from somewhere in the engine. maybe its the oil that smells like that? or the heater being on? or is this normal? i doubt it though. if anyone can help me out and tell me why this smell. i do know i have to have an oil change ASAP.

I have to make sure the car is completely warmed up or the ignition key will not come out, the engine will shut off but the key will not come out when the outside temperature gets to about the freezing point or below. I have had the ignition replaced twice and it doesn't make a difference.

I have a whirring/whooping noise coming from the passenger front wheel. This noise starts at around 10mph and the noise gets faster and slightly louder as I accelerate.

I don't get any vibrations from my steering wheel at all and the noise does not get any worse when turning either way.

Could this be the bearings or something with the wheel? Would putting the spare wheel on be a good call to see if the noise goes away?

Any advise/guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks.

When the engine is idle, or when it is running the noise of the engine seems loud. I bought the car 30 days ago, and I used engine oil 20W/50, i dont know what was the oil used before. The recommended oil is written inside the hood to use 5W/30 oil. Is it possible that using 20W/50 oil is the main cause that makes the engine noisy? what is the difference between the two oil ratings 20W/50 and 5W/30?

I know someone had an accident, they had a new clutch and garage didn't put oil in the gearbox. Few days later he spun his car and crashed into fence.

My mate told me the reason it happened, cause there were no oil in the gearbox and while he was changing the gear round the bend the driveshaft on the left locked up and the tyre burst then the car spun round facing toward the way he came.

He found out there were no oil after the accident and there are no slight of leakage.

the wheel on the car sometimes squeaked a little when turned so i checked the power steering fluid and it was below low level....so i filled it to max, after 1 week it is still squeaking. what could it be, no tubes are kinked.
I noticed yday that the rev counter fluctuated slowly up and down between 1.5 rev to 0.8 rev (x1000).

can some mechanic please help on what it could be thanks.

I bought brand new Saturn Outlook 2007 XR All Wheel Drive. 3 weeks later I found out that there is a whining noise when I drive the car at 75mph. I took it to a Saturn dealer they said this noise coming from the tires and that’s the way it is. I took it to a different dealer they said it’s bearing. Then I took it to another dealer they said transfer box. Any idea? Please help,

I went off to college this August, and I lived in Alaska, where I left my '96 Chevy Blazer. Well, my parents never so much as started the thing up when I was gone, and now it won't start. The battery is so dead it won't even accept a charge from a trickle charger, and I remember that the last time I let it sit for about 4 months in the winter, the battery died too. I have a 4 cylinder 1999 Hyundai Sonata, everytime I fill up with gas I have to press the gas and wait till the gas level goes up then it stays on fine the rest of the time, it has also done it a couple of times while running where it wants to stall and even if I press the gas it feels like it's resisting, if it keeps doing it I have pulled over and pressed on the gas for a minute or two while in parking and it goes away after that, what is wrong with my car?

I have a 2001 lexus is300. I never had a problem with my first car which was a bmw. I have problems defogging my car when it comes onto the windshield. I tried the defog button but it works on the back only. I rolled down the windows but its too slow and usually its raining hell outside. I used cold air but sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. I even tried to AC. Sometimes none of them work and I almost died pulling over because they dont work fast enough. Should I use defog with cold air? Should I use the cold air with AC or with AC off? Please help. And please give me advice on how to keep the fog away from my windshield- for good. what i should do to prevent it in the winter. Please help, thanks

I drive a corsa c 02 plate.

I stopped on a hill tonight, so i pulled my handbrake on hard and then i heard a large clicking noise and now my handbrake isnt connected to anything and it stop my car from rolling. It just moves up and down freely, i think its snapped....ideas anyone?
