Also i paid 200 for this tinting at a well known place and it says on the after care sheet that small bubbles will be noticeable until fully dried but if it is messed up the want 150 to strip it off but they will replace it

I tint windows for a living....

Bubble are bubbles and water pockets are water pockets

I generally tell my customers to wait a week before they have any complaints.

After tinting you will always notice small water pockets and a slight haziness to the film all of this SHOULD dry out. I tell my customers if they notice anything after a week to bring it by and let me check it out.

Tint does all kinds of crazy looking things before it dries out

DONT touch the water pockets, leave them alone they should dry out and the folks who tinted your windows might use it against you... especially if you tell them.

If you seriously have problems with it after a week dont call the guys go by and talk to them and show them what its doing. They cant do much for you over the phone and their used to getting calls from worried customers (knowing the stuff the customer is talking about will most likely dry out)

your defroster didnt hurt the tint at all if anything its helping it dry faster.

Im not looking at your vehicle man so I cant tell if its a bubble or a water pocket, your best bet is to take it by and let those guys look at it,

you PAID for their work and they should be able to stand by their work. You should be worry free... you would be at my shop.

Take care, and hope this helps ease your mind.

Window Tint Care

It is true that most cars, including Avalons come with tint already in the glass. There is an easy way to tell, look on the bottom corner of you windows and there will be the name of the glass company and a few other things. Look for a number with a % next to it, that is the tint in the window. Also, clear glass is actually 2-3% already, so if you put on 35% you will actually be darker than 35% and if you get an asshole cop messing with you, you may find yourself with a ticket. If you want to stay legal go with 40%. Not all tint companies carry it, but if you want to stay legal, do your research.

Great guarantee-- we'll replace bad tint due to our shoddy workmanship if you pay 75% of what you originally paid AGAIN... not worth it. If they did a crap job, they need to strip off the part that sucks and re-do it for free. If not, write a letter to your local BBB. But I must also tell you that I've yet to see a 100% perfect tint job. If it's minor, you should probably just deal with it. Ever notice how every little detail with a new purchase is very noticeable, yet a few weeks or months later, you don't even notice anymore? And nobody else does either.

The bubbles are either dirt/debris still on the glass or air, you can prick them with a pin if they are air and they will flatten out in timeprior to drying out, you shouldn't have had the front screen tinted as this is illegal.

If the bubbles are very noticable take it back and tell them to do it again, its nothing more than bad workmanship

definitely ta back to whoever did it and get it redone. The defroster should be completely functional the bubbles were most likely there before ust a sign of shoty craftmanship. Someone was in a rush to complete the job overlooked the bubblles. It is an easy fix with by poking the bubbles with a needle or razor and flatening them with a credit card, but if you paid for it then it done properly

Take the vehicle back to the window tint installer and show them the concerns. Don't tell them anything and just have them fix it. The more you tell them the more reasons they will have to blame the problem on you. Just act dumb and if anything tell them your friends car isn't like that.

If a business did your tints please take it back and let them do it over.
