I have to make sure the car is completely warmed up or the ignition key will not come out, the engine will shut off but the key will not come out when the outside temperature gets to about the freezing point or below. I have had the ignition replaced twice and it doesn't make a difference.

There must be an interlock system that makes sure you are in park before you can remove the key. Have a dealer check it out. Mess around with the shift lever next time it gets stuck, making sure it feels like the lever locks into place, push it all the way into park while turning and pulling the key out.
