I have a 1994 325i BMW. It has a new radiator, hoses, and head gasket. It seems that every couple days I have to add coolant to the radiator. What is going on? Is is because I am using my air conditioner frequently? Please help.

Can I magnatize this? At my school they have this thing where you put the magnate of an ignition mag of an airplane to remagnatize it. Can I use this to magnatize the cast iron oil drain plug on my car? Would this type of modification cause any problems on the car engine? Could a magnatized drain plug magnatize the oil pan of the engine as well?

attn:Dodge man great answer my truck has only 104,000 miles on it.I took it to the shop and they suggested the intake gasket needed replaced.I need a second opinion.Could it be both intake gasket and valve seals? My truck runs great and has lots of power. My only concern is the blue smoke after it warms up and only after I've idoled for a few min.(like after I have to stop at a stop light and then accelerate,it blows blue smoke and then goes away) don't want to replace a lot of things just to fix this problem as that could get very expensive.I hope this extra info. helps. Thanks Again!

I'm replacing the battery on my '89 Ford Festiva. It doesn't seem to be that complicated of an issue, but I wanted to make sure. I already read that you disconnect the negative first and reconnect it last. But I'm still wondering:

Is there any danger in touching any part of the battery or the terminals at any time?

Is there anything weird about the process that I wouldn't expect? Any possible hitches?

Thanks.

I was looking to buy a car and the ad said "Car was still strong and running until last week when a recurrent problem happenned. Air in clutch line , I think that is what my husband said. ANyway, it starts and can go a short distance, that needs to be fixed" Can someone tell me if air in the clutch line is related to the car only being able to go short distances or what another problem might be? I'd ask the owner but if they want to just get rid of the car I doubt they'd be totally straight with me.
Thanks

i had an exhaust job done on my truck. the truck is a 1990 gmc 1500, 2wd, 350. i had the cat removed with a flowmaster muffler on it. now the truck runs horrible. after a while the check engine light came on and the code says o2 sensor. i only found one o2 sensor in the left manifold. i replaced it and it did nothing. i did find a wire though hanging free by the distributor. it is the same color, size, and same connector as the o2 sensor connector. but it's disconnected. i think there might have have been another o2 sensor on the truck and the guy just unplugged it under the hood when he removed the cat, while doing the exhaust. i dont know if unplugging an o2 sensor can make a vehicle run bad (miss, stumble, ect.) but ive done every thing else. ive even had the throttle body checked and distributor checked for damage and it all looks fine. i know newer trucks have 4 o2 sensors, but if anyone knows how many this truck should have or what i should do to fix it, i would appreciate it.

It should be good at track and streets? I was talking about stock & something that lasts long i know lot of American cars dont last that long when you compare them with Japanese cars but i believe cars like Charger's, Vette & Mustang's do last pretty long? The other question is which 1 of the cars are easier & cheaper to do mods on if needed?

i have a 1998 honda civic that wont start. Everytime i turn it off, i have to connect jumper cables to turn it back on. It doesnt matter if i just turn if off to go to the store really quick. It will still require jumper cables to start. I put a new alternator and battery. The jumper cables dont even need to be on for a long time. Just connecting them will get it to start. what could be wrong with it?
