Since this was a warning, I all I need to do is fix it, or do I fix it and do something else like let the police department know it was fixed. All I got was some new printout for a work order to repair parts.

Got a new bulb to put in it for her but that didn't work. The only fuse box I found is under the hood but doesn't have any of the little stuff listed as being part of it. So, Does anyone know where I can find the fuse box or have a good idea of why the blinker isn't working. The bulb was bad you could see that. which is why I thought i blew the fuse too but itsn't not on the side by the drivers door or under the dash?????

Nissan Sentra 2001 GXE 1.8L 4dr.
The temparature guage stays around and above 75% (130 degrees) and heater blows cold air. Once in a while (irregularly) when driving, the temperature guage comes down to 50% and heater blows warm air. Usually when engine is idling or break is pressed down, the temparature guage goes high and heater blows cold air. When the gas is pressed hard, it may start to circulate radiator fluid to the heater core or engine and temperature guage may come down and hot air blows.
Tharmostat and battery has been replaced. Radiator fluid flushed few times. Electric connections has been checked. Radiator fan comes on when needed.
The radiator fluid level is constant(no loss of coolant). There is no leak found in the cooling system. Heat Blower fan is good. The water pump is spinning even when in idle.
Please help!

I've purchased the correct refridgerant, but I can't seem to find the valve where I add it. I did the same to a Ford Escape, and it was easy to find. The position of the valve in the 95 Explorer is leaving me at a loss! There is a very slow leak, and it finally ran out after installing freon in May. I would love to enjoy some fresh air in the hot, Texas sun!!!

I have a 1992 Ford Explorer. There is a leak in the power steering. When I bought it from my sister I was only having to add power steering fluid every 2 weeks, now it has gotten to be every 2 or 3 days. I know I am going to have to get it fixed, but does anyone know around how much it's going to cost me?

The vehicle is a 99 4 wheel drive ford explorer sport. I noticed a clear oily droppings under the front end of my suv. i took it in to the shop and they did a coolant pressure test and found no leaks. not being satisfied i made them put it on the hoist and showed them myself where the leak was, and the mechanic said "oh, looks like your front diff is leaking". Should i be skeptical of this assessment? im not sure if they are just looking for something to replace to make me happy or if it is legit.

It must be the wiring harness? I think? All the other lights work fine just the middle light and only the breake light. Is there a short cut around this ,so I don't have to buy a whole new harness.

Ok so over this past summer my car would leak the condensation from the a/c onto the floor where your feet go on my passenger side. It even got a little swampy. Procrastinator that I am, I didn't clean it up. Yes, I'm sure it was condensation, a friend who is a mechanic told me I probably just need to clean out the vent it would normally go through because debris from the road will clog it occasionally. Anyway, at this point how do I go about cleaning up this mess? Should I pull up the rug? If so , how , and what do I use to clean it, and how? Might seem silly, but I'm kind of afraid of what I'll find under there, I'm expecting mold. I know, disgusting, please help!

I own a 2000 dodge neon with about 120,000 miles on it.
Out of the blue the transmission started slipping....BAD.
I checked the fluid and there wasn't any. I put in a quart and it was still slipping badly. I stopped and looked and trans fluid was leaking from under the front part of the car big time.
What is most likely the culprit and what will it cost me to get it fixed?
Should I just buy a used or rebuilt trans and have it installed?
I am currently screwed cause I can't get to work.

I have a 4-gear auto box which causes chugling when TCC is locked (3rd and 4th gear). Once the brake pedal is touched it unlocks it and the chugling effect goes away. That led me to assume there's some tranny slippage occurring. I know fixing TCC with "open surgery" can get very pricey. Any other way?

Can you please get as technical as possible? (Braking performance, acceleration, under steer, etc.) Obviously a tire shop told me I would have to go with all four new tires, "especially on a FWD car"; but my objective is to get through a winter with the least expense and sell the car next summer.
Please advise.

I have a VW Golf and I've been trying to drift it lately. Not too heavily just once in a while slide. Apparently I have flat spots on both my back tires. My parents don't know why but I do. The bumping sound it makes is awful. Is there any way to remedy this besides buying new tires?

When driving stick shift and braking to stop fully at an intersection:

let's say you're is in 5th gear and you sees up ahead that you will have to stop at a red light. Can you simply brake until the intersection and disengage the clutch just before you stop?

And when you've disengaged the clutch, can you just throw it into 1st gear at the light? Or do you have go through 4 3 2 first?
