I have a VW Golf and I've been trying to drift it lately. Not too heavily just once in a while slide. Apparently I have flat spots on both my back tires. My parents don't know why but I do. The bumping sound it makes is awful. Is there any way to remedy this besides buying new tires?

swap them over to the front and spin the hell out of them.

That wont fix them - but it will be fun.

Nothing will take the flat spot off - buying new will

the flat spots are cause by the tires sliding and not rotating just like if u lock up the brakes an the car still goes straight then u will end up with a flat spot not much that can be done it will happen to every tire u drift with. as he said rotate to front and do some burn outs u should be ok for a while at least until u drift again

Two part solution:

1. Buy new tires. You can't fix them once you have ruined them.

2. Stop drifting on the street. It is both stupid and dangerous. Cops don't hand out trophies, neither do utility poles.
