I have a 1992 Ford Explorer. There is a leak in the power steering. When I bought it from my sister I was only having to add power steering fluid every 2 weeks, now it has gotten to be every 2 or 3 days. I know I am going to have to get it fixed, but does anyone know around how much it's going to cost me?

As has been said, it depends on where the leak is, a line could cost you anywhere from 10.00 to 50.00 plus labor to install, all the way to the steering gear/rack which is a few hundred plus labor ro install.

Pressure wash your engine if necessary, and find the leak, it will make it easier for you to figure out the cost. If you are losing the content of your resorvoir every 2 to 3 days, you are way beyond the help of stop leak treatments.

It depends where the leak is. If it is a bad hose, it could be under $100.00. If it is the steering rack.... It will be over a grand.

No way to answer without an inspection.

Sorry
