I recieved a warning from iowa for no front plate...?

Since this was a warning, I all I need to do is fix it, or do I fix it and do something else like let the police department know it was fixed. All I got was some new printout for a work order to repair parts.

Put a front plate on and take it to the closest or most convenient DMV. Have an employee of the DMV get from behind their desk and do a visual inspection, they are required to do that when needed. You'll be fine once the visual is completed and documented. No big deal really.
