I have a catylitic convertor on my car but I also have a replacement straight through pipe that I could fit. What option would use the least fuel / petrol. I head somewhere that a catylist burns more fuel / petrol. Is this true?

My car is a Honda Accord, 1995cc,. Year of Make: 1994.
(Of course changing the water pump, I had to remove the timing belt and the timing balancer belt and all the external belts).
On completion of the job, when I tried to start, I heard the starter turn as if there is no load. The engine does not turn at all. Please help.

Imagine a headlight bulb pops on your car and you want it replaced. I know most people would be able to do this themselves but imagine you can't... How much would you expect to reasonably pay to have it replaced? (not including the cost of the bulb/s)

I have a 2003 Dodge Caravan. I was overdue for an oil change -- it had been 5,000 miles since the last one -- and the car started running a little rough, but I decided to push it three more days so I could get it done over the weekend.

Then yesterday morning I was leaving work and ran over a parking divider. There was a big thunk, but the car looked fine from the outside, so I headed home. About 30 seconds later, as I turned out of the parking lot, my engine light came on.

Could I have damaged the car when I ran over the divider, or is the light on because I have damage from letting the oil change go? The car drove home from work (about half a mile) just fine, but the engine light stayed on even after I added two quarts of oil and cranked it again last night.

I just put new whells and tires on my 05' Chrysler 300. 2 weeks later I notice that when driving it slightly pulls towards the right. On the highway, when I take my hands off the steering wheel (on a smooth road) it begins to veer towards the right and I then have to correct it. Any ideas as to why this may be happening?

My car's cooling fans sound like a jet engine while the car is running. When I shut off engine the cooling fans continue to run about 30 seconds.

What worries me is that I had this car for 6 years and the fan noise would only happen occasionally after long trips. Since about 4 months ago, this noise is occuring during and after every time I use the car...It has 59,000 miles on it...

Is this something I should be concerned about? I'm not sure what to do so any advice would be great.

I work in the service department at a car dealership. We have a drive thru that you drive right in to, we take your info and get your car done.

Why do people park outside, on the street, walk in and say, "I need my car serviced."

Don't I need your car to do it?

Are you morons?
