does the car shake when you stop if yes replace them if no leave them alone
remember to buy good pads not autozone or raybestos
buy wagner thuromoquiets or napa permium pads there worth it

The thing to do is to put a dial indicator on the rotor, and turn the rotor and check for runout. This will determine the need to resurface the rotors. Since you don't have the dial indicator then have them do it at the shop where you are replacing the brakes.

Remove the wheels and visually inspect the inner and outer rotors, if they are not scored and they don't throb when you apply the brakes they are probably OK, just replace the pads.
If you are in doubt, do like E says and check the runout.

to do the brake job properly where there is a new surface on the rotors for the new pads to seat in properly they should be turned.
