It would be the seal on the plug on the radiator has gone and water is coming out here or the seals on the water pump - check this. Also limescale may have blocked up the pipework - MAKE SURE YOU USE DISTILLED WATER - if this is the case and you are not mechanically minded take it to a garage and have it dealt with. It should not be too expensive.
Lastly on most cars you should put antifreeze/coolant into the radiator with the water - plain water will simply boil and evaporte at the temperatures it will get up to.

Sounds like you need to replace the water pump. Do you notice fluid on the ground after the car has been parked for a while? It appears that the water pump gasket has failed and you are losing coolant.

If you are adding water every 50kms, then you have a leak somewhere. Leak = no coolant = overheating.
Take the time to find the leak and all your other issues will go away...:)

the coolant system is fairly simple; but if its not circulating you might want to change the oil & check it close for water. if water is present then you most likely have a cracked head or head gasket-BIG HEADACHE. look around the engine compartment for obvious signs of leakage, this is usually a hose or hose clamp. another thing to check is the thermostat. hope this helps.

Install a new water pump, and make sure you install a new thermostat at the same time because the old one will be damaged.

I think you need to take it to a garage, sounds like it's leaking somewhere and maybe a bad water pump.
