My car is an old Nissan Serena. I would prefer to just put it in myself but need to know that it will circulate properly. Thanks.

I dont drive my car much. However, i returned to it this morning at 4am, heavy coat of frosting. I stuck the demister on (air con), left the car running with the door open, whilst i cleared the ice off the windows.
I noticed there was water droplets on the inside of the windscreen. Is this normal? The last time i drove it was on Tues.

I don't think there is any obvious areas in the car that there maybe a leak. Perhaps it may just be normal due to the inside/outside temp differences.

ok soo the throttle position sensor was bad on my 2000 chevy blazer with auto. trans and when i drove it 1st and 2nd gear would shift fine and when it hit 3rd the engine would just rev. up it was like i moved the shift lever into neutral. i replaced the TP Sensor today and it runs like new could this cause my so called transmission slipping problem as soon as it shifted back to 2nd it would do fine could that have caused the problem?

I have a 1997 Ford Aspire manual. Yesterday it started making slightly annoying noises, and today the noises are really loud and the car is difficult to put in gear. It's really acting up in the first four gears, but when I get to 5th it doesn't do anything weird. It even makes the noises when I'm in neutral unless I hold down the clutch.

I did an overhaul to my 1993 Nissan Pickup, but I was advised not to run the car any faster than 35 miles per hour before the Engine has at least ran for 500 miles atleast. Is this a true myth or just bullshit?

my clutch is bad because i can let the pedal out while its in gear and it will not jerk the car foward and it will not stall.
my question is do i need to buy the whole clutch or just a pressure plate or something else? and also how do i know for SURE that its not just the clutch but could it be slippage?

I have a Hyundai excel with 160'000kms always serviced and well looked after. I had the valve seals replaced because it was blowing a bit of blue smoke ONLY at start up, going down hill occasionally, mostly after very long idiling (but only sometimes)...

Its still doing it 2 months later. Another mechanic said it may be rings but i thought if so why does it happen at intervals that match a diagnosis of seals? Is it possible that my mechanic did it wrong? Or is there another part to valve seals it could be? Valves themselves?

The guy that said it may be my rings said its no big drama, because it runs so well. Replacement of those plus a full top end makeover is about $700AUD(not to bad in price compared to most), but there is no rush as it doesnt do further damage- just do it when it gets really bad.

But i just dont think its that?

I have had a new ac pump installed because I though the old one was bad. But the noise didn't go away. I have replaced the power steering pump and idler tension pulley. Sometimes I hear the noise when I back the car up. If I take off the drive belt the noise goes away. This is the third pump not counting the old one. Could the condenser be bad also. I have had this noise for over a year but nothing bad has happened. The car runs great except for the noise. The noise does seem to go away if I rev the enging up some.

I've noticed that many hardware stores sell batteries that can trickle charge your car's battery through the cigarette lighter overnight. Many boxes seem to advertise that it will keep your battery at the "ideal starting temperature". Are they referring to keeping your car battery warm overnight? Or something else?

I'm a rookie, any input would be great, thanks.

I have a 1990 lincoln towncar. Got off work and it started fine. tried to start it again and it died out like the battery was drained but, it will not take a hot shot all it does is make click when I turn the key. The lights are bright radio plays fine and they don't dim when I turn the key. One day last week when I started it the car was slow to start like the battery was weak but it started right up. Does it sound like the starter or the battery? If it was the battery wouldn't it take a jump? Could it be a relay? Thanks

I drive a 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport AWD. I went to change the air filter, and, big as life, there is the housing staring back at me, right on top. HOW DO YOU GET THE COVER OFF!!!!? It's ridiculous! What was the point in making it that hard to do! Just put two clips, one on each end. I can't figure this monkey's puzzle out. I'm not a stupid man, please help.
