Alot of places do this for free.Auto parts places and such.They hook up the code reader and it basically tells them why the cars computer has alerted with the check engine light(I guess Wal-mart does it to LOL).
Hey i remember something from along time ago,when mine did that.Go out to your car and take off your gas cap and screw it back on carefully to make sure its on properly.This actually happened to me once.You might not be so lucky but its sure worth a shot.

Take it down to the dealer so that they can check the codes and diagnose the problem.

first check the codes that is where you start now test the componets that the codes pointed you to example mas air flow sensor code check hoses ,,intake,,,air filter ,,,, and see if it needs cleaning/..... before you replace the part

You would have to take it to a auto repair shop and let them scan it for the codes.
