my car was starting but shuting off right away so i messed with the valve stem on fuel rails and it started right up, i dont understand why can someone please help?

i also for got to add that there fuel coming out of the valve stem is that normal if its not tight?

seems like the critical issue hasn't been addressed - the fact fuel is coming out. this is NOT normal, and you need it fixed - either on-site, or after being towed to a repair shop. if you drive it anywher, you are asking for a car fire - much more expensive than getting it towed - and, getting it towed won't result in your untimely death, but driving with gas leaking easily could.

and for the record, the comments about what the valve stem is used for are probably correct.

Put a pressure gauge on it and see if you have fuel pressure. that's what it is for. If for some reason you had some air in the system, you could have let the air out by messing with the valve.

might have been a fluke but if it has a colored cap its a test port for fuel pressure it would not really affect anything other than fuel pressure it cant increase pressure so dont know why it started maybe your pump is sticking.

maybe you had air in the line. the valve is for measuring the fuel pressure

That is only a test port for fuel pressure I would look at a ignition module if it happens again.
