I dont drive my car much. However, i returned to it this morning at 4am, heavy coat of frosting. I stuck the demister on (air con), left the car running with the door open, whilst i cleared the ice off the windows.
I noticed there was water droplets on the inside of the windscreen. Is this normal? The last time i drove it was on Tues.

I don't think there is any obvious areas in the car that there maybe a leak. Perhaps it may just be normal due to the inside/outside temp differences.

The air con will not work if the temperature is below zero the evaporator simply ices up. Opening the door lets damp air in and the screen mists up inside until the engine gets warm and produces hot air.
Best way to defrost and warm the screen is to run HAND HOT water over it. DO NOT use boiling water or the screen may/will shatter.
BTW it takes three times as much petrol to run a cold engine on tick over as a hot one. About 0.6 gallons/hour.

There is no leakage. water in air condensed inside your car, as air is around and inside your car.

Salty water may help you to clean your frosty screen.
