ok soo the throttle position sensor was bad on my 2000 chevy blazer with auto. trans and when i drove it 1st and 2nd gear would shift fine and when it hit 3rd the engine would just rev. up it was like i moved the shift lever into neutral. i replaced the TP Sensor today and it runs like new could this cause my so called transmission slipping problem as soon as it shifted back to 2nd it would do fine could that have caused the problem?

YES,, TPS in conjuction with the other sensor report to the PCM to tell the trans to shift when needed

the only things that bother me is when on 3rd its slipping with out engine light on,,

no. The TPS only reports to the computer the input from the diver if the trans when to neutral while in drive without a check engine light the problem is in the trans.

I wouldn't think so. TheTPS tells the ecm how much air is entering the throttle body so it can calculate how much fuel to supply.
