my clutch is bad because i can let the pedal out while its in gear and it will not jerk the car foward and it will not stall.
my question is do i need to buy the whole clutch or just a pressure plate or something else? and also how do i know for SURE that its not just the clutch but could it be slippage?

the car is a 1988 honda prelude.
when i try to drive i rev it to 5-6k rpm and the car finally starts to move. i can let out the clutch completely when its in gear and the car will not stall or move foward.
i dont know if its slippage or fluid or a whole new clutch
someone help please
and also i need the pressure plate? and what else? i really dont have that much money
