For awhile, me and my boyfriend had been driving my car around on a flat. We stopped to fill it up not too long ago and then yesterday, on his way home from work, he turned and spun out of control.

It jacked the front passenger side of my car up (where the tire is) and some say that if the frame is bent, then my car will be considered totaled because that is not fixable? I'm no expert on cars but I'm almost postive that there is frame damage so I'm kind of scared. It sucks because other than that, the car is in perfect condition, runs great and is kind of new.

Any help?
Pontiac Grand Prix 2006.
Thanks!

I also have a honda cb 360 and the petcock adjuster spins freely between settings. I just bought the Suzuki and the adjuster just wiggles but wont adjust to the different settings. What am I missing? It shouldn't be this difficult. The bike runs so nothing should be stuck but possibly? Thanks

I was told my car has a small leak in the air conditioner compressor. It's going to cost $800.00 to replace it. I don't have that kind of money to put into the air, but I have 3 small children and we live in southern TN so it is very hot. Is there a way to seal the leak or are we just out of luck?

Ok, my rotors do not show any grooves. I do not run my brake pads that low! Second, if I get my rotors turned do I need or should I replace my brake pads, too? Let me say this again, there is NO visible grooves on the rotors. The reasons I ask is because when I brake I can feel a pulsing sensation in my brake pedal and a shimmy in my steering wheel. I have also heard that replacing brake pads while getting my rotors turned is a good idea. Reason being is that even though there are no visible or physical traces of uneven wear, the fact that it's measured in micro meters will not show any physical or visible sides of said uneven wear.

PLEASE DO NOT ANSWER if it's an opinion. I prefer to hear from shop owners and/or mechanics that specialize in brakes/rotor.

96 Toyota Camry, changing the front brake pads, she is missing the small screw used to breed the brake to release the pressure from the caliper. Is there another way to depress the caliper w/out loosening that screw?

rly new... Lights were on until rear brakes were done and all lights went out (Thankfully).. Then they came on again after a few weeks...Brake fluid level is good. The 4x4 high light also flahes now and then without 4x4 being selected. Is there a sensor which may be dirty/dusty and causing this?
