Prefer RustSeal by KBS Coatings over por15. Has better adhesion power and is less $$$!! Heard Por has another price increase coming Sept. 1....a quart will now be over $40.

with regards to the rust merely prepare some touch up paint or A primer coat to hide the rust. found at your community ironmongery keep. As for protecting it in good notch undertaking that's beneficial to apply a severe speed buffer yet i would not propose you to do it. or you run the prospect of burning the paint in case you do no longer prepare sufficient polish. it fairly is a lot much less stressful Clay it each and every few months, then wax it. Wax it each and every 2 months as needed. that is found at your community provider branch or vehicle keep. the tip effect would be a tender/bright end to the paint activity. merely confirm use cotton towels or microfiber towels. good good fortune

check out por-15
Por stands for paint over rust. I did the entire undercarriage of my car. Its great strong stuff.
Don't grind it off then spray rust inhibitor. That won't work, it will just rust again.

sand the rust off and go to the auto paint store and get a quart of POR-15 and brush it on the rusty area, it will seal the rust so no air or water can get to it and it won't get any worse.
