If I need to put my entire car up on axel stands (so i can do a full brake fluid bleed/change) how should I go about it.

I have a manual, so I do know where the axel stand points are, but it doesn't say anything about order.

Loosen all lugs first... but then raise front driver's side first and place axel stand? Then front passenger side.. or front drivers rear? I ask cause I don't want the car unbalanced or toppling. Maybe best to start with rear wheels ?

Also my property (driveway) is slightly.. ever so slightly sloped all around.... (like 10 to 15 degrees)... is that too much risk?

Thanks. (I hope i've not asked something foolish where it shows how inexperienced I am) At the moment I've only got 2 axel stands so will have to source 2 more.. and I've got a brand new well-rated 2 ton trolley jack.

My rims were messed up too and there was steering problems. I had to turn like 5 inches to the left for it to go straight. I just picked up my car today from the shop. They were in a rush because they were closing. So as I am driving home I noticed the problem with the steering was still there. I already got a alignment and my frame isn't bent or anything. What else can cause the steering problem? I tested it and went 90mph on the highway and the car does not vibrate or anything. But still, I need to turn 5 inches to the left for it to go straight. What else can be the problem if it's not the frame or the alignment? (Already got the whole rear left side wheel/rim/rod replaced.) The impact must have done something but noone knows what.

I have a 1993 Ford Explorer XLT that desperately needs transmission fluid. I have two bottles of brake fluid in the back seat so can I use brake fluid as a substitute for transmission fluid? I heard somewhere that you could or it may have been the other way around but I doubt it.

I bought a 88 Cadillac Deville on May 25, 2007. Engine size is 4.5 and has 94,784 miles on it. Two days ago it overheated on me. My son looked at it and said the radiator was real low. He filled it with mixed antifreeze. Yesterday it overheated again. My son looked at it and said the radiator was about 1/2 gallon low. He couldn't see that it was leaking anywhere. First thing he decided to do was flush the radiator because it looked real dirty. He couldn't get it to drain. He said there was sand, metal flakes or possibly radiator sealant in the bottom of it. THEN he looked at the oil and it was greenish brown. He said it was antifreeze in the oil. THEN he took off the valve cover and there was white thick stuff gooped up under it. I plan on taking it to a mechanic on Monday. I've got my fingers crossed but I think someone was trying to pull a fast one on me! Can anyone help me diagnose the problem? And does anyone know how Lemon Laws work? I would greatly appreciate any information!

My car (1997 pontiac trans am) is leaking coolant because of a bad waterpump so we're getting a new waterpump, but the machanic who is gonna replace it says we should just get a new distributor to because of how many miles the car has, but we don't know whether its bad or not, how do you check whether it is or not, because they are really expensive and it needs to be replaced when the waterpump is because the instaltion fee will be the price of one if they are done at the same time.

Whenever it rains or I drive through a puddle of water on the street and make a turn my steering wheel gets stiff. It causes my turns to be wide like how an 18-wheeler turns corners. Sometimes when it happens I will hear a little screeching noise similar to the sound a bottle rockets makes when it shoots up in the air and it makes a screeching sound. (I've heard this sound on other cars but that when they're starting up.) Does anyone know what is causing the steering wheel to stiffen up like that?
