I have a lady friend who's having a bit of a problem with her Honda.
About a month ago, she had her car tuned up. Plus she had the oil changed and put some fuel injector cleaner in it. Every thing ran great, until this weekend.
For some strange reason, she decided to put some more injector cleaner in her car, because she wanted to improve the gas mileage. And she remembers backing up over a bump and then the car jerked a bit. Now, the car is making knocking sounds and shaking, when she's idle. It drives almost the same, but she says that it's not as smooth as it use to be. So, the question is, has she messed up her fuel system?
I don't know what to say, other than to take it to a mechanic. Either that, or just run the gas out. But there again, that might not exactly solve the problem. So, did she make things worst by adding more injector cleaner to her fuel, after doing it previously? Or by shifting gears on that bump is what made things rough?
