i recently put 22" rims on my dodge ram 1500 (4X2) and now my ball joints are no good. i was told that its because the upgrade in rim size. i was wondering if it is possible to install a heavy duty ball joint on the upper and lower to match the rim upgrade?

There will always be a generic (stock) or a PREMIUM choice with almost all parts.

You will want to get all premium suspension components, including brakes if your adding 22's on a 1/2 ton dodge.

If it was designed for 22" rims, don't you think they would have put 22" rims on it?

Be prepared to replace them often.....Not to mention wheel bearings too.
