I have a 92 Toyota Celica convertible. I was driving and it got really hard to turn the steering wheel so I thought I needed power steering fluid. I opened up the place to put it and saw that it was completly full. I had to put all my stregnth in it just to turn the steering wheel...... Do I need a new pump?

1998 Toyota V6 with 150,000 miles had the oil light come on. No abnormal engine noises were heard while driving to repair facility. (or ever for that matter) Tests by mechanic concluded that the pump is failing at high temperatures. In the process of taking things apart, the mechanic found "aluminum and brass particles in the oil pan".

Since the pan has never been removed before, is there a quantity of particles that would be expected?

Where would the brass particles come from?

Recommendations?

Background: Car has been reasonably well maintained with routine oil changes at a Toytoa dealership.

where can I find a Ford F150 4.2 L engine? for less then $2000? My engines Rod bearings are trashed. I either need a new engine or if I buy one of the rod and crank kits and replace it that way would it be the same cost and just as effective? WHAT TO DO WHAT TO DO?

I have 1999 Chevy Cavalier. I had no big issues with this car year. The car has 185,000+ miles on it. I have had it fixed twice this year already.

1.and now It seems like the transmission is sleeping..

2. I need strutts

3. my power steering fluid tank is making a clicking sound.

4. and the gauge in my fuel tank that tells me how much gas I have is shot and the mechanics quoted me from 600-800 for parts and labor because the whole tank would have to be replaced.

Also, the car I am looking at is not expensive if that matters. It is 9,000 for a 2002 Galant with 45,000 miles on it

OMG. I just bought this scraper for a good deal consideing its near mint condition inside and outside. I let this assshole "install a new stereo"he took out the original, and cutt a bunch of cables from the inside... When I started the Car I noticed the Digital Speedometer, and Digital Gas Meter werent displaying. AHHHRRRG! I was soo mad. Hes definately not gonna fix because hes a dumbasss older teen than I am. I know anyone with knowledge of car electrical can fix it in like 10 minutes... Is it posssible that maybe its just a fuse thingie that is causing the problem? Where Can I find EXACT information on the Car's Wiring? I was rushing into installing my new Slapp in the Car and Now I dont even have the radio :( The Car drives and runs fine but I dont feel conftrable driving it like that. I'm 18 and i've just spent all my money on my insurance policy, registration, and sound system (LOL) PLease dont tell me to yahoo it or Google it because i've done that and all sites SUCK!

We just had a new motor and transmission put in the truck a few months back. It has been doing great since then, until the other day. We were driving it, it backfired, and then the motor died. It wouldn't restart. Fuel pump was no longer getting fuel. Found that fuel relay was getting no power yet fuse to relay was getting power.Got a new relay and installed. Truck started up and then died again. now no power to relay, fuse, or coming into fuse. Fuse, relay, and battery tested, all still good, just no power going into the fuse that goes into the relay and then to the fuel pump. We can hard wire into the battery and truck will run and can be drove all day with no problems. I think the next step would be the computer, but, not sure that that would be the problem since it works with being wired directly into the battery. If I need, is there a way to test the computer? So, what do the machanics on board think it could be?

Thanks to anyone who even considers answering!

If we thought we had a problem with our clutch at 10,000 miles, and the dealer says don't worry about it, and it breaks at 14,000, is this there fault? Is there anything they could of done? What does it mean to adjust the clutch, when should that be done?

i had a car that showed a drain on my car battery with the ignition switch off. i hooked a test light up to the battery, and noticed when i changed out the combo lever switch on the steering column , the light went out, i thought a switch just opened or closed an electrical path, and was not an electrical load itself. i have heard people say you have a bad ground problem. with there not being a light or some type of electrical device that appears to be on, what else could be draining my battery. thanks for any tips.

I have a 2002 Hyundai Sonata and I want to try and fix the problem before I take it to the dealer. One of the pressure hoses is leaking. It located just below the engine. The leak is coming from where the rubber hose connects into a round metal object (I dont know what its called). Any advice would be appreciated.

I got a '03 Grand Am GT Coupe about a month ago. No problems except for tonight. The lights that come on when you open the door, won't turn off when the doors are all shut. The trunk is shut too. Any idea of what could be wrong?

If I take the light bulbs out, will it still take power away from the battery?

I removed the Driver side Transaxle (CV) shaft, I replaced it with a new one, however i can't seem to get it to seat all the way into the transmission, I pulled it back out and looked inside the transaxle and their appears to be a Horrizontal shaft that will not allow the splined end of the axle go into the transalxe all the way. Does this shaft have to been slide up or down ?
it dosent seem to what to move
