Diesel engines require a little different maintenance than a gas engine. FYI diesel engines do not require spark plugs.

1. Engine oil & filter(s) - change every 200 hours [10,000 miles] which ever comes first

2. Coolant PH must be monitored every 6 months. Electrolysis & acidity causes liner pitting.

3. Coolant filter must be changed every 6 months [if equipped]

4. Fuel filters must be changed annually.

5. Air filter must be inspected every 6 months or more often depending on conditions.

6. Very few of the HD diesel engine have glow plugs, therefore no maintenance required.

7. Inspect engine belt(s) & tensioner/idler(s) every 6 months
