My Driver side window doesn't come down. It was sparadic, now it won't move at all. The other three windows are also acting up. They open and close when they feel like it. Is this maybe a bad motor? I have a 1999 Dodge Caravan Sport auto windows of course.

I have a 2002 ford explorer I replaced the front brakes and the make a grinding sound when applied. I know the brakes are installed properly and a little concerned about the noise. I noticed that the brake pads are beveled on the old set on both sides. The new set is flat all the way across. Could this noise be from the new pads being cut down by the rotors? I noticed there is a lip on the rotor that is in the same place as the bevel in the pads. Is this normal? I have never seen a rotor with a lip. Also it is a 4x4 if this helps. Please answer if you have any knowledge about this.

About 50% of the time when I press my brakes or use my turn signal my vehicle almost stalls (did stall once), the radio turns off and back on, my speedometer gage goes down and back up, my security light comes on, the defrost turns on for some reason, and my seatbelt light flashes like it would when the car is first started. What could be the problem?

I bought the right hose along with the conversion kit to put it on an old R-12 system. My brother-in-law is a plane mechanic and does alot of work on his cars as well and when he went to load the first can of lubricant/refrigerant the line didn't want to take it. We connected it to the correct line, what could be wrong here?

Any other time it is fine. We had to put a new transmission in it when we got it because the pump went out that was 8 years ago. It does pick up and take off cause I can drive it.

the instructions I beleive said positive clamp goes to positive terminal on the car battery, and negative clamp goes to engine block or metal chasis, but I think I left it with the negative clamp on the negative terminal
(because htats how i had originally connected it in order to jump start it, and forgot to change it).

When I left no warnings or anything came up on the battery charger. Its a VECTOR 12v battery jumpstarter and charger.

I just replaced my Tecumseh starter on my 1993 Craftsman lawnmower. 12hp. The starter spins when I hook a jumper pack to it but not through the battery. I assume the battery is dead. However shouldn't I be able to start the mower by jumping the starter? When I jump it the starter doesn't hit the fly wheel. Why? What can I do to fix it? Could it be my jumper pack is just not strong enough? Its 12v 6amp. Please tell me this is a simple inexpensive fix. thanks

The rear brake line busted on a 2000 Blazer and the valve that shuts the brake fluid shut to keep the rest of the fluid from coming out. How do you reset the valve to open it up again?

I have checked all of the fuses and they are all good to go. The warning lights at the top of the panel still light up and my brake lamp light even came on when a brake light went out. Sometimes the clock in the middle of the dash comes on and sometimes it doesn't. Also, sometimes the light around what gear I am in lights up and sometimes it doesn't. At night I can't see my speed limit, temperature, RPMs because it's completely dark. I am thinking it may be the Instrument Panel Dimmer Switch or there is another part that is encased in a panel underneath the steering wheel and I'm not sure what that one is called. I don't think it would be the bulbs going out all at once... anyone have any ideas?

I'm trying to drain all the water out of the system I put in my truck because it was leaking coolant due to an intake gasket being blown. I didn't know the gasket was blown at the time and putting more anti-freeze was getting expensive, so I went to just adding water. I've drained the radiator petcock but I know there's still water in the block. So I was wondering if anyone could tell me where the petcock is located or perhaps another way to drain the water from the block?
