I have a 2002 Hyundai Sonata and I want to try and fix the problem before I take it to the dealer. One of the pressure hoses is leaking. It located just below the engine. The leak is coming from where the rubber hose connects into a round metal object (I dont know what its called). Any advice would be appreciated.

You will have to replace the hose with a new one, or you may be able to find a shot that can repair the hose you have. Some parts stores can custom make pressure hoses, replacing the hose and using the fittings from your old one.

If it is the return hose, you can replace it with a piece of hose and attach it with hose clamps. The pressure hose needs the fittings pressed on!!

There are 2 aspects to the means guidance gadget. The intense tension part, and the low tension part. if it is the intense tension part, the hose desires to get replaced. if it is the low tension part, then you definately can restore it with hose barbs and clamps. The intense tension part leaves the pump and is going to the guidance mechanism. as quickly because it leaves the means rack or guidance field, the it is low tension till it returns to the pump. Such fixes to the low tension part are in elementary terms short-term in nature and gets replaced with the magnificent hose assembly on the earliest possible time.

You do not fix hoses, you replace them. Keep in mind you'll have to replenish fluid and get all the air out of the system.
