Help I have a 1999 f250 truck. The drivers side window motor went bad so i replaced it. The new motor lasted 5 days, now it doesnt work and all of my guages in the dash quit working.

if i rev the engine a bopping sound comes from inside my K&N air filter,, also if i turn the power steering wheel it makes loads of bop kinda noises

Last week, I spilled a chocolate milkshake in the cupholders of my Jeep. I cleaned it out as best I could, but now there's still goopy chocolate gunk in the crevices at the bottom. I've tried everything I could think of to clean it out, but nothing's working. Now my car smells like rotten chocolate milk. Does anybody have any ideas? I have to get that cleaned up before the smell starts making me sick.

from past two days, i am constantly being annoyed by the ticking sound of the indicators which start as soon i turn on the ignition of my 92 accord. last night i found that the left turn indicator keeps on blinking abruptly all the time, but not with same brightness and it doesnt show in the dashboard either. the ticking is faster than the normal ticking, i wonder whats the problem with the signals. please help me with this.

Ok so I own 2 cars, 1996 Dodge Avenger and a 1987 Cadillac Brougham and neither run. The avenger will turn over and sound very close to starting so im guessing fuel pump.
caddy will start if there is either a new or charged battery but will either die in 3 days or 1 hour. so im guessing its either a short or something unknown to me is draining the battery the alternator is new and works fine... they both have gas they have both ran before.
few questions
1. Are these problems correct, if not what are the problems
2. what would be the prices to fix or a cheap way to fix
3.should i keep one and get rid of one and fix another if so which
4. any other important info or advice I NEED TO DRIVE!

Hi anyone know what it could be? My car started shaking as if it was going to shut off, then the engine light came on, the owner manual says it may be the catalitic converter however, I think it just may need some oil...someone help!!

Originally I had 14" inch steel wheels on.

Last year I bought 15" alloys and had them balanced and put on.

I had new tyres put on 2 tyres about 3 months ago.

Now I can see a sort of thin dirty edge has developed on the very outside of all 4 tyres.

Is it something to be concerned about?? Do a lot of cars have this issue cause I was looking at cars in supermarket car park and couldn't see any with dirty edge tyres. Replacement tyres are expensive !!

All parts of the tyres are fully black except for this sort of dirty edge.. which I'm hoping isn't a sign of excess wear... which is a full circle on outer edge of all the tyres. It can't be washed off or anything like that. The tyre has changed colour there.

I've got a tyre pressure guage and keep my tyres inflated at recommended psi/bar as according to the tyre size for my car (1.9 bar or 28psi).

Also I had my tracking recalibrated last week cause there was a slight pull to the left - but I can't see that having caused it.

I have a 92 Mercury Sable, with messed up overheating issues. I can start it up and leave it run for hours on end and it will run at normal temp, but when I get out on the road it overheats in a few seconds. I replaced all the hoses, thermastat, radiator cap, drained, flushed, and refilled the system. What else should I look for or try? I need to get this car running and out or my garage, I got other toys to play with!

will this affect the cars performance? i drove somewhere on wednesday journey was only 45 mins and i felt the car wasnt smooth at all, i felt the car was getting hot from inside but temperature gauge was fine. Before i had it serviced there wasnt enough oil init but after service there was. I feel really upset as i bought this car in july its a x reg vauxhall astra. All my other cars have been unreliable plus im a girl off 22 and only driver in house.

My battery is not charging. A couple of weeks ago my idiot lights all started acting crazy, going on for no reason, all at once. Would this be a sympton of my alternator going bad or the voltage regulator. My car is parked at a common cents store. I am thinking of just going and buying an alternator in the morning and putting it in but I would hate to waste the money for a new alternator if it is the voltage regulator. Any advice?

I have 1994 Nissan Altima. I noticed that the dip stick that is
used to check the engine oil level does not close properly
at the top of the dipstick tube. In other words, the top of the dip
stick that firmly seals itself to the top of the dipstick tube is slightly worn out and it does not firmly stay in the tube.
Should I replace the dip stick ???. Thanks in advance !!

after that it died and will not start again...what could be the causes..i had to have the car towed home. i think it could be because of a fuel pump cause it seems like its not getting any gas..could it be anything else. it has new plugs and wires on it..i am really puzzled right now..any help will be greatly appreciated..

vehicle info: 1996 3.8 v6 Camaro, 5 speed manual, convertible. 175,000 miles.

Lately my engine has been seriously hesitating/misfiring when I try to accelerate quickly. The car vibrates and sometimes I can hear a muffled "pop" sound if I really try to give it a lot of gas. If I go easy on the gas it doesn't do too much. Some have suggested it to be the Mass Air Flow Sensor. I think it might be the problem but I'm afraid of spending $150 on a new one and still not have the problem fixed.
I recently changed the fuel filter and added a gas treatment to my engine and this happend approx the same time I started experiencing this problem (maybe related?)
I don't know when the spark plugs or anything like that have been changed last (bought it used) but it is probably due for a tune up one way or the other.
Should I try a new MAF sensor or look for the problem elsewhere? I'm on a VERY tight budget and don't have much money to throw around replacing things in effort to try to fix

i bought some other cheap brakes from a neiborhood little auto shop for about 12 dollars after a month they were squeaking like there was no tomorrow you could hear me coming from a mile so i just bought some ceramic brakes from pep boys how good are ceramic brakes

I HAVE A 1999 DODGE DORANGO PUT 3 QUARTS OF OIL PER MONTH AND BY THE 3RD WEEK IT EMPTY. WHITE SMOKE COMES OUT THE TALE PIPE. DONT SEE ANY LEAKING OIL. TOOK TO DEALER THEY SAID TO USE A HIGHER GRADE OIL2050 WHICH I DID BUT PROBLEM STILL ACCURES. OIL GADGE LIGHT CAME ON AGAIN PUT 2 QUARTS OF OIL 2 DAYS AGO AND IT'S EMTY AGAIN. DONT KNOW WERE OIL IS GOING OR WHAT THE PROBLEM IS.
