Its leaking out between the piston and the cylinder, because the o-ring is worn. Go buy a rebuild kit for cheap. Or pick up a used master at the wreckers for like 20 bucks. Remove the master cylinder, ( if you rebuild, theres a snap clip that retains the piston in the tube, it can be a b/%& to get out, but youll get it), re install, and bleed your brake lines longest first. Good luck. ps if you buy the rebuild kit (2 rubber seals and a clip), be sure tu pre lubricate the rubber with some brake fluid first - dont want to ruin the new gasket).

Best way is to go to a parts house and buy and new or rebuilt master cylinder. If you can afford it buy a new master cylinder instead of a rebuilt one.'
When you change master cylinders be sure to bleed your brake lines.

you need to replace it, the seal around the piston has weakend. you need to do this asap so that fluid doesn't leak into the booster as well. Brake fluid will soften the rubber diaphragm in the booster and cause it to fail.

its probably the back seal in the master cylinder on it,that's a good sign the master cylinder needs replacing on it,there are kits to rebuild them with ,but its not worth the hassle ,its a lot easier to just replace it,and be done with it,good luck with it
