I use regular window cleaner or soapy water. These lenses are usually plastic--sometimes glass--and generally sufficiently dull that you don't have to worry much about harming the surface. I would not use strong chemicals that could damage the lense.

I would use the same things for tail lights and turn signals, both front and rear.

I am assuming that you mean cleaning the plastic lens covers.
You can buy a cleaner that is made to clean plastic
motorcycle windshields and plastic convertible rear windows.
There are 2 kinds, one is just a cleaner, the other one is a scratch remover.
Go to any auto parts store and ask for it.

Do not use glass window cleaner that other will suggest. The Ammonia in it will shorten the life of the plastic lens.

Car washing soap will work ok, and will not likely damage the lens, but do not use detergents that are not design for cars, they will damage your paint and lens.
I hope this helps you.

Use the same solution that you use to wash the rest of your car. Most of them are made of plastic, so don't use strong chemicals on that. Never had a problem with soapy water. :)

I just use the soapy water that I use to wash the car with. I haven't had any problems doing it that way.
