will it increase HP and by how much?

it will increase horsepower indeed.......but you're going to have to do a LOT of work on the motor b4 u can turbo it...... you'll have to change up pistons & rods to begin with and then other details. its pricey

the only thing I ran across indicates a 3106 cat turbo to be about 300 horsepower. I really would have expected it to to be running on turbochargers anyhow.
How good is the motor before you start.

I really need to ask. Are you sure the motor is a 3106 and not a 3208.

Yes it will increase horsepower and torqe at higher rpms. i don't know by how much more hps you'd get. Depending on type of engine and turbo. I work at an O'Reillys Auto Parts Store and if you want my email is ffasheepdog@yahoo if you wanna send me some info on your bluebird and about how much of an hp increase you want or price range and I can help ya search more into it.
