Most people do not have a clue.I have been working on cars over 30 years. It has a lot to do with what type of car or truck you have.I have pulled a battery in five minuites and some at more than a hour and a half.Batterys can be under the air filter box, under the rear seat.in the front wheel wells,in the trunk and so on.THIS CAN BE REAL EAZY OR ROUGH AND TOUGH.

Well it depends on the type of car and the location of the battery. On most cars its only about a ten to 15 minute job but certain cars like some chrysler products have a crappy design where its located inside the front fender wall..This will take you about 45 min. to an hour to change. Some buicks will have them under the back seat along will alot of the more expensive german cars .To many cars to list but those are the basic locations and times.About some other people telling you it only takes 5 min. those are the people who most likely are doing it half @$$.

Less than 10 minutes if you have the right tools and can find the battery. ( its not a joke sometimes the batteries are hiden in trunk or under the backseat, most should be under the hood located to the left or right of the radiator. Some cars such as new bmw s are a little more difficult....

everyones saying 5 mins... hahah. you dont even know what kind of car. for all you that think 5 mins, google search how to change a battery on a dodge intrepid and get back to me hahha.. but yes some cars are easier than others... but more realistically about 10 mins minimum... if your battery is very easy to get to, and theres no corrosion to clean off the terminals.

It depends on where it's located in the car. Anywhere from 2 minutes to a half hour.

Depends on if you plan to have it done or do it yourself. When I went to WalMart I was there 2 hrs. Next time I took the battery out, went in and bought what I needed, put it in out in the parking lot. Took me 15 min.
All you have to do is unscrew the 2 terminals. Lay them aside not touching any metal. When you put them back on make sure you put the pos/red to pos/red side of bat., and neg/blk side to neg/blk side of batt terminal.
If you go to places like Auto Zone, Pep Boys etc, they will usually come out and do it for free if they are not busy. It is quicker to do it yourself.

You just unclip and lift it out. It takes about 5 minutes. Waiting for the dealer to write it up takes longer.
