I have a 95 accord 2.2liter with 150,000 miles. The car leaked all of it's oil onto the pavement (after parking the vehicle), and I had the car towed to a mechanic that said its sounds like a seal was blown and "let's change the timing belt and water pump" while we are at it. The engine was running and sounded fine before all of this fiasco, and now, with the new parts, the car has barely any power, sounds like the engine is going to throw a rod, and I still have an oil leak, though it's much smaller. I have to place 2 quarts of oil a week so it won't drive dry. Did I get ripped off? Does the timing belt need to be tightened (hence the engine noise and power loss). Mechanic showed me the new timing belt and water pump, so the job was done, but I did receive the car later overheating, a result of no radiator fluid or water whatsoever (my suspicions are that he took out the fluids from my car, and did a bad job on the belt so my car's engine would burn out as he offered to buy,,help!!!!
