I am buying a new car, and that is one of the aftermarket options. It makes sense to spend a little to keep the paint looking good, but does this covering look good and keep the paint as good as it claims, or am I just better off repainting in a few years?

i have a 1979 chevy c 10 pick up with a 75 250 straight six in it.
now my engine is getting pretty tired and i am thinking of replacing it with an eight cylinder engine. now my question is ....
i have a three speed on the column transmission. i don't know anymore about the tranny and i would like to know what if any eight cylinder engine will mount to this transmission? or do i need to replace it as well? the tranny has been recently rebuilt and i would hate to have to change it out if i really don't need to.

I just checked the oil in my car and found white lumps/streaks in it. Does this mean my head gasket is gone/is going - or is there another explination?

Also, if it is the head gasget, does anyone know how much that would cost to get changed? My car is a 1996 Mk3 Golf Gti - 8 valve

Thanks in advance

I have a 94 GT mustang that I recently had some work done to. I had no problems with the heat gauge before I had some new aluminum head installed. I was wondering if I should install a lower temp thermostat? What are my options? I don't really trust my heat gauge though because when I press the breaks or turn on my headlights, the hand goes up alittle. Another thing is my oil pressure gauge is way up there to the point my dipstick wants to come out. What should I do about this?

I have a 2002 Grand Am Gt silver beauty, but after just two years of having it, the transmission went and it just went 2000 mi after my warranty ran out. I am so disappointed with Pontiac, I've read on many forums that Pontiacs are garbage. If I knew this before hand, I would have never bought it. I test drove a silver Mitsubishi Eclipse before I got to the Pontiac dealership and I should have bought that. Has anyone else had trouble with their Pontiac of any model??

I have not had any serious problems with my VW Beetle until tonight. I was at a red light and when it went green and I put my foot on the gas, it started to sputter and it felt like it was losing power and about to die. I accelerated and it sputtered a few more times, again feeling like I was about to lose power. I turned into a parking lot, turned it off and waited 10 minutes. I started my car and it sputtered while driving again a few times and lost power and then started acting fine. Any reason this would be happening? What's wrong?
