hopefully it's just that as it is not expensive, how ever it can be more serious..eg head gasket, cracked head. or simlply an air lock.

If the fan on the heater works but the heater doesn't put out hot air you are not getting hot water through the heater core. Check your engine temperature gage. If it never gets above the bottom of the "normal" range, you probably have a broken thermostat. If the gage gets into the normal range, the problem is a clog in the heater hoses, core, or valve if present. If the engine cooling system has been completely drained recently and not properly refilled, it's possible for the whole heater loop to be full of air.

Could be the thernostat. Cheap and easy repair.

um, try checking the fuses.. It will help more if i knew make and model of your car.
