If someone has Codes PO855 & PO700 what could be wrong? What are the soultion for this problem? How much does this typically cost to fix? Would this be covered under Manufactueres warranty if the car was purchased used?

I have a 1995 geo tracker one day it just died i have checked everything that i know to it has fuel to it and out the return line but the throttle body stays dry the injector is not firing i was told it sounded like the computer went out but a local salvage yard has loaned me 2 different computers to try and it did the same with both it doesnt seem to be getting any power to the injector i have found no blown fuses or broken wires i would really like to get it fixed before i have to take it to the shop and pay someone to do it

CTM Scooters have a trouble flashing light when it won't start. My flasher is flashing five flash series and I can't get it to start. I tried turning it off, putting it in "D" and turning it back on - with ni luck.

only when cold. tranny does not slip and shifts fine . just did a tranny service and problem continues.

i have an 88 honda civic 1500 dx hb a/t. i just replaced the battery and the alternator tested good. but when im driveng my battery light comes on but once hit the gas it goes off, let go and its back on. the other day my call was idleing a little higher than norm so i put it in neutral and lifted back on the gas pedal with my foot and the battery light came on and my idle went down

I have a 1995 Probe GT. It's been having issues for close to a year now. It used to slightly hesitate & now it's having issues accelerating. Is this because the spark plugs need to be changed? I was told by a friend that it could also be because the engine mounts were loose. I JUST put $850 into brakes & am not looking forward to engine work. Thanks in advance

say on a downhill situation, meaning that the car will be left to slide maybe for several miles, does that harm the transmission system in any way?
also is it harmfull to change from L to S to D and vise versa while driving at speed? assuming the motor speed(RPM) is ok with that, i'm just asking what will happen to transmission will it suffer in any way?

I want to do my own oil changes for my car and on family's cars. Tired of being ripped off for £200 services at the stealers. (dealers)

I'm not massively keen on try to work under a car which is lifted up by a jack + axlestands. Added to which its a pain and timeconsuming to get the car up that way.

My car is a 2002 VW Golf and we've got a few other VWs in the family, I was just gonna buy these ramps http://www.toolmix.com/browse/product.asp?pid=58920&s52cnc=KELKOO-UK&s52r=KELKOOSHOPPING but then my brother told me they are probably unsuitable as the Golf's front end is low, and it would scrape in to the bumper trying to drive up on to the ramps and also slip forward as trying to power the car up on to them.

Bit of a long shot but would anyone know where to source ramps suitable for low profile cars ? (at a non-astronomical price)

These Rhino Ramps look ideal but can only find them USA side, and can't find an active UK source.

I have an 1987 ford F25o 3/4 tn truck , I put a new alternator on it cause I thought it was bad, still th same. When I check the the battery while its running Im getting 13.5 volts ?? Now while its running if I remove both pos and neg battery terminals by pass the battery and hook my tester to the truck cables it read like it should 14.5 volts? I don't under stand it and would like to kno the solution??Help

replaced the motor for my wipers on my 1998 nissan quest they worked fine for about 5 minutes then went dead everything was replaced exactly as it was and checked the fuses , could it be a short or switch .

a high quality Oil out lasts the filter...rite..? Why would i throw new oil in it when the old oil just needs cleaned..?

I was changing the belts on my 1990 Pontiac Grand Am, the main pully sets behind the right fron tire, so i had to take off the tire and the plastic guard in wheel well. After getting all the new belts on and in place, I went to re-mount the tire, and the jack sliped out from where it had been at, and the car fell about 1/2 inch from my leg and hand. Ok first thing is first, go ahead call me an idiot, it was my fault, bad placing and should have used jack stands, I deserve it, feel free to call me whatever you want. Now, after I put it all back together I started it and went to drive it a bit to see how bad I messed it up. The car runs fine, no pulling, no obvious signs of internal engine damage, but the only thing is, there is a clicking noise comming from right around the power steering pump (FYI PS pump set on pass. side cloer to firewall) The clicking is reletive to engine speed, I have looked for eveything I can think of, need ideas and thoughts, please help if you have any input.

Hi, so I bought a 2003 Grand Vitara, but it sat in my driveway for like a month and a half, I live in the Northwest, and it's rainy/cold all the time around now.

So I finally started driving it, and all yesterday all day it spewed out this white fog-like no-smell gas from the exhaust, is it something to note, or nothing?

Also my car seems exceptionally slow, I might just have high standards, but if I floor it, it takes a few seconds then it kinda lurches forward but still doesn't have great acceleration, any other ideas?
