Do you have plenty of clutch fluid? Check the levels and make sure they're okay.

What is sticky mean? Do you mean hard to shift from one gear to another or do they stick before they change Or you riding the clutch,or letting it out to fast. Do you hear any unusual sounds in the change between first and second? You will have to pull the transmission to find the problem in this matter. It could be the gears our worn or the clutch plate is worn .Your transmission may not be adjusted right. Take the truck to a reliable transmission dealer and have them check this problem .

In a "manual" transmission there is a synchronizing mechanism to bring the gears up to speed before engaging the. If those synchronizers are bad, you will get a gringing or "sticking" when shifting. ALSO, your clutch may need replacing. If you are not completely disengaging the transmission, and your engine RPM and real axle are not in sync, you will gring or notice a sticking.

I can only surmise that 1. your transmission fluid needs to be changed, 2. need to have transmission replaced. I own two manual transmission vehicles, and when gears start sticking, it is a serious problem. don't hesitate to get that problem checked out. take it from one who knows.

...if it's a column shifter... linkage. lube it, tighten it...there might be something that is a bit bent from all the "power-shifting" you've been doing... if it's a floor shift... lube the linkage or put in a "good" Hurst "mystery" shift... floor shift can get crapp'd up from floor dirt...
