and the two codes that came up were 700 ( shift solenoid b malfunction) and 755 ( transmission control system malfunction). Did 755 come up as a result of 700, or are they separate problems? Also, is it a costly repair? I know transmission repair is costly, but are we talking about all out replacement? 2002 Dodge Neon w/101K, automatic.

it was running fine and then all of a sudden it started running rough the next morning, i did ecu code and came up all clear, also changed out the plugs wires and distributor and set timing, still have problem, checked all the vacuum hoses and egr valve, changed out the throttle position sensor, it is a very simple engine with only two oxy sensors and one coolant control sensor and i already changed them out about six months ago, air filter is brandnew, fuel pressure going to the injectors are at spec, all cylinders have equal compression of 160, fuel filter brandnew, put in high octane gas from another distributor and still no change, only thing i can think of next is the injectors and coil but from what i heard coils dont slowly die they just either work or they dont, if the injectors dont work anybody else have any other ideas cause im running out of things to check?

I have had the car for 3 days, and I just noticed today that the floor is soaking wet. It goes from a little in the front, driver's side, to all of the back driver's side floor. I called the dealership, but the service department was already closed. Should I take it in first thing in the morning, or does it sound like something that can wait a couple of days?

Okay friday my wife was the driving when the van just died. My first thought was ignition coil but it wasnt so I borrowed my friends Drb scan tool and it came back with an error code P0340 that said in the haynes Manual No Cam Signal at PCM which means No camshaft signal detected during engine cranking. From what I have been told that means the camshaft sensor is bad and needs to be replaced but they said I have to replace the whole distributor since the camshaft sensor is built in. What I would like to know is that right or not and to get a second opinion on what that error code really means and what to do?

Today while going down the road, I accedentally shifted my automattic transmission from drive to reverse (while going 35 mph). The tires started spinning in reverse really fast. The check enging light came on, and my truck wouldn't move (by the way I have a '96 F-250 Gas). None of the gears would work. When I put it in park, it made a grinding noise. Also, there was no power steering, I popped the hood, noticed that the powersteering valve thingi had popped off. There was power steering fluid all over the place. I put the lid back on. I started my truck, and I think everything seemed to be working, however I haven't drove it over 20 mph yet. What I'm really concerned about is the transmission. Also, does the transimission have anything to do with the powersteering.?

I have a 98 Voyager.... I am having some issues with the cooling system. While driving the engine temp shot up - There was no heat coming from the vents when I turned the heat on high...checked the radiator and it seemed empty.....the overflow tank was low as well. So after adding fluid to both places I tried again. AGAIN the temp shot up. Looking under the vehicle there were no leaks until driving about 2 -3 hours. It seems to be coming from a 'pipe' that has disintegrated. What is this part exactly and do you think that by replacing it - it will fix my problem?

Their is hardly any fluid in the radiator right now, could I just pour the sealant into the radiator and change my oil, since all the radiator fluid went into the head and oil. Then start driving the car and hope it sealed the gasket.
