I have had the car for 3 days, and I just noticed today that the floor is soaking wet. It goes from a little in the front, driver's side, to all of the back driver's side floor. I called the dealership, but the service department was already closed. Should I take it in first thing in the morning, or does it sound like something that can wait a couple of days?

I really hope it is something easy to fix. I have a 60 mile commute every day, including tomorrow. The service department opens at 7am, and I have to be on the freeway by 7:45am. I hope there is enough time to drop it off and get a loaner.

I would take it in asap, you just purchased a new car and you should not be having this problem. It could be a heater core, hose, windshield seal if it rained. You need to let them know that you had an immediate problem with a new car. Be sure and get a repair slip every time you take the car in. Just in case you got a lemon, this will invoke the lemon law with a paperwork history. But to be positive, hopefully it is something that can be fixed very easily. There should no problem getting a loaner car if it needs to be left for awhile.

You should take it back to the dealership as soon as possible. It could be from when they washed the car during pre delivery or it could be a leak in the door seals.Has it been raining since you bought the car? Also, it could be as important as a leak in the heater core.Does the wetness have an anti-freeze smell? If so, check the coolant level and add if necessary, then proceed to the dealership.

Definitely take it back to the dealer. Probably isn't the heater core as most cars have the heater core on the passenger side of the car but who knows stranger s**t has happened.

take it in right away,if you let it set mold can set in,and it has already done some damage to the carpet and that can cause the it to rust from the inside out .could be leaking from heater core or from the windshield seals

Mold will grow quickly. Blot with paper towel and notice the color make sure its water then call the dealship asap when they open. It could cause damage in more ways than one. Good luck and be assertive.

If it was raining the last few days, then the seals around the doors or if it has a sun roof are not sealing up right.

Take it in a.s.a.p.....the dealer has to repair that....could just be a roof leak somewhere (if it rained since you bought it)
