I didn't have any prior problems or warning signs. My car is sitting in cold weather and is only driven approx 1 day per week. I first noticed that it was difficult to move forward and thought that the emergency break was sticking. I pumped the break and tried to move the car again. No improvement. I tried to put the car in reverse and the back end started to raise up. I got out and noticed that there was a line of tire on the road behind the drivers side of the car. It appears that the left tire is not turning at all. I did not notice any other problems or leaking fluids. Any ideas? Thanks!

I just got a diagnostic test on the check engine light in my car and got the mass air flow sensor code but the mechanic can't do it till next week. For the past few days, I've experienced loss of power in the engine with a bad pick up. Is it ok for me to drive around for a week or will that exacerbate the problem?

I have a 1992 Mazda 626 4-door sedan automatic, I think it's a 2.0 liter. Anyway, my coolant (in the resivoire) will empty itself... I don't know where its going...I noticed this problem when I started my car one day to let it warm up. I stepped out of my car (while it was running in park) and I noticed that my rpms were going up and down rapidly. I then looked under the hood and noticed my coolant resivoire was empty... I checked for leaks....saw none, so I filled it back up, and was good for about a week.... then the rpms started acting up again, and what do you know, my coolant is EMPTY AGAIN!! What could be going on? Please help, I already replaced my thermostat!!

My car broke down 150 miles from home. I could not afford the tow home, so had the AA appointed garage deal with the breakdown, 2 1/2 weeks later I still have no car with no date for getting it back. So far the bill is at £1000. Timing belt tensioner went. What can I do?

I am driving around 3,000 miles on a road trip from Texas, through New Mexico and Arizona to Nevada. Are there any gas saving tips? I know it's mostly highway mileage, but anything I can do to make my fuel use more efficient?

My mom has a 2001 neon 2.0 sohc, auto, a/c loaded. She told me that the car smells like gas usually in the morning after being used the day before. If she doesn't use it over the weekend and goes to drive it Monday morning it doesn't smell. Also the car idles a little rough but works fine otherwise and it leaks a bit of coolant. The car only has 70,000 kilometers and is driven minimally.

I am going to see the car tomorrow and I would appreciate it if anyone can give me some pointers as to what to look for.

Right now i'm thinking blown head gasket or a messed up injector...

Thanks guys, and girls

I recently replaced the wheel cylinders on a 1994 Dodge Caravan.
The passenger side drum began getting hot while driving. I replaced the springs and brake hose, but it didn't help. I can't think of anything else. Help please.

I broke one of my wheels, and it is not repairable. I have velocity 20 inches, but don't know the style number. I checked with local dealers, and they say my style has been discontinued. However, I do know that my model is just like the velocity VW 199 without the rivets. I don't want to invest in a brand new set when all I need is one wheel. So, do I need to find someone who can replicate it? Or is that legal? And if it is do you know someone who can?

I bought the car used, with 147,000 miles on it. It now has nearly 162,000 miles on it. I am going to be taking a trip from Texas to Las Vegas in my car and I was wondering what type of maintenance I should get done to it before I go. The place I usually go to for an oil change said I needed to get my transmission flushed, and I read that I need to get my radiator flushed as well. I was wondering if I could have a list of everything that I should have done prior to going on my trip. Thanks! Also, it's a 1998 Ford Taurus.

Hi any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I have a 95 ford escort wagon with over 100,000 miles on it. For the past month when I turn the car off I smell gas. I thought it was leaking and had my mechanic look at it. He couldn't find a leak and changed the gas filter(?) saying it was really old, but I'm continuing to smell the gas. Is this common and should I be worried? Thank you so much for your help.
