Harley Davidson markets a product called Scratch and Swirl Remover. About $6. Worth trying. Has worked for me.

The best way that I know of is to use polishing compound, Lightly applied, followed up with a good hard polish (CARNUBA) Then go over it again with a soft polish(DuPont) Then no matter how many times you use the wrong towel to dry. You wont get under the hard layer of wax until you take it off.

Use polishing compound. Best is with a buffing wheel, if you have to do it by hand, be very careful, use gentle pressure to avoid going any deeper into the finish than necessary.

Key is light pressure, be very gentle. It will work!
