Does anybody know how much it will run me to have the timing belt replaced in a 1995 mitsubishi eclipse GST? I'm thinking about buying one with 80k miles on it and that would be a soon-to-come investment so I was wondering how much I can expect to spend.

It is recommended at 60K, but most people stretch it out to 90K. Do NOT try to go any longer because if that belt breaks, you will be buying valves and possibly pistons or more. Also, it is a strong recommendation to replace the water pump at the same time (if it locks up, the belt will break).
