first i know on some they can turn off the air bag,, but i dont feel safe with knowing their a air bag, that could go off ,an hitting me,,, i want to remove it from the van, i know i can put in a new steer coblem but ,look for a easyer way,also i had a friend that was hit by one an it mess him up bad,

The car is a 95 oldsmobile cutlass supreme. When I turned the car off and got out the door was in the lock position. I am unable to shut the door. I have tired using pliers to move it but I am unable to. I have tried to unlock it by using the keyless entry and the buttons inside the car. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

i have a 93 ford tempo 2.3 hsc that over heats driving down the highway i hooked it up to the ngs scanner and the temp gauge matched what the scanner said the cooling fan works kicks on at the correct temp. the water pump pumps good it has a new thermostat in it . now for the wierd part normally when a car is overheating you can turn on the heat and the temp will lower a little but on this car it does the exact opposite the temp rases and i know it is over heating cause it fills the resevior up and you can hear it boiling. any ideas

on a ford ecsort the taillight fuse (15 amp) blows soon as you turn the lights on but a 30 amp does not blow, it had a 15 amp to start with.
I am afraid to leave the 30 in there due to fire.
this all started during rainy then snowy weather.
where is the most likely place to find the trouble?
or should I let it dry out first?

hi folks i am lookin at puttin forward controls on my 75 sporty.... i have been told by someone that 75 models come as a split set... left control is of a 75 and right is of a 76 (is how they come) this model 75 still has the drum brake rear on it.... now my main question to u all is will a set of 76 model controls fit on her.. as they look to be the same but was told the gear shift spline goes across to the right side on the 76 forward controls. or are they both on the same side and these controls will fit with minimul drama's... im confused and anyone with the know how can u b nice and explain it to me thanks ppl .....

i had my oil changed last night by the same mechnic that does all of my work. when i crunk it this morning it souded like the whole motor shifted. while it is sitting idle the motor is shaking. when i put it in drive it shakes really bad like it is about to fall out. also the tail pipe sounds like it has a cold. what could have happened?

i just bought a civic si, and i just found out that the car is burning oil so quick you wont believe, i just changed the oil in the car like 3 weeks ago and when i checked it recently, i found out it was empty, there is no leak, i know it is burning oil, because 2 mechanics checked it out, i dont want to buy another engine because i checked the price on the engines everywhere and they cost about 1600 dollars, does anyone know the best thing to,do, i know a buddy of mine who is a mechanic and he has done some engine rebuilds b4, but never worked on b16s b4, My problem i am facing now is rebuilding an engine any different than putting in another engine, the current engine has about 72000 miles on it, What are the risks on rebuilding an engine, and what parts do i have to replace on the engine.

I noticed that my oil pressure went down significantly when I was idling at a stoplight yesterday. It went back up after I accelerated from the light. Is this normal? Or should the oil pressure remain nearly constant after the car has warmed up?

i have a 1998 pontiac grand prix gt and just since it has gotten cold and snowy the wipers have gone crazy!! one will try to go one way and the other the other way!! they'll stop at the top of my windshield and not the bottom like they're supposed to. and the driver's side one stopped so it was hanging off my car yesterday!!

The dashboard lights at my 1999 Dodge Caravan, sometimes work, sometimes doesn't.. (3 lamps at the superior display are presenting the problem (left turn, abs, and alarm set).

The bulbs outside the vehicle, the abs system and alarm are working fine, the thing is that sometimes the lights go back on, then they go out again.

What can I do to fix this? where are the connections to these lights and how can I open the dashboard?

I have a 93' plymouth sundance, and the brake light comes on when I step on the brake; I just replaced the pads thinking this was the problem. When I let off the brake the light goes out. However not always, sometimes it stays on, but if I pump the pedal, it goes back out. The brake pedal also feels a little "spongy" and as far as I can tell the front brakes don't work at all.

I have a 1987 Chevy Blazer S10. On my way home from work today I had to put my brake pedle all the way to the ground and then it slowed the car down till it would finally stop. And that is when the brake light turned on. Do I need new brakes or just brake fluid? They worked fine on the way to work.

Advance Auto parts told me I needed a 1038 k6 for my 98 ford windstar, but I looked it up in various places the internet (including on their website) and it said I needed 1037.5 k6. I already installed the belt. Is this going to cause problems?

(Also the old belt was a 1033 k6, Go figure)
