paper clip method . . . .help?

i did the paper clip method on my car but not sure what the code means. 0443 was the code saying that 10 = 0
Can any1 help me
Its a vauxhall vectra 1.6i 16v

I know exactly what you're talking about. I used to do that on my old Chevy Blazer years ago - using a paper clip to jumper the appropriate terminals on the diagnostic connector and make the check engine light flash the trouble codes. The problem is we need the year of your car to look up the appropriate code for your car.

paper clip method is an old fashion way.

the actual OBD ll ,"buy it over-the-counter" is so cheap that almost match the paper clip price.
and do not stick a paper clip in the OBDll plug,the computer will cost not less than 500 bucks

julznkarl is talking about (possible) a 1989 vehicle.

OK ,Julznkarl: You have to count the blinks. the 10=0 means You computer is gone.try to read it again, I think it only will say 10=0

I have the code book for all GM 1982 up. No codes listed in 3 or 4 figure format. re check your counting
